Trail Blazers honor Lillard, top Hornets 124-113

It took a second-half rally, but the Trail Blazers dropped the Charlotte Hornets 124-113 on Monday night.

After a listless first half, Jusuf Nurkic led the charge in the final two quarters with 20 second half points, including going 5-5 from the 3-point line.

Jerami Grant knocked in 32 for the Trail Blazers on a night where the team honored Damian Lillard for becoming the top all-time scorer in franchise history. Lillard spoke to the Moda Center crowd after the game:

Portland now has a couple of days off before facing the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
