Trail Blazers fall again in OKC, 101-98

The Portland Trail Blazers struggled to another close loss in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.
Portland was hoping to bounce back from their 123-121 loss at the hands of a Shai Gilgeous-Alexander buzzer beater, Damian Lillard’s attempt to take the lead from the baseline didn’t touch rim, and the Blazers walked off 0-2 in OKC.
Jerami Grant led the team with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Lillard got off to a slow start and finished with 16 points and 8 assists. Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 27 points and 6 rebounds.
Justice Winslow appeared to step on Kenrich Williams’ foot and hobbled to the locker room in the third quarter. He’ll have an MRI later Thursday.
The Trail Blazers next take on the Denver Nuggets from the Mile High City on Friday night.
