Tinkle leads Beavers to massive sweep of Mountain Schools, with 81-72 win at Utah
Oregon State forward Tres Tinkle dropped in 31 points, Kylor Kelley racked up six blocks, and the Oregon State Beavers earned a big road win in Utah, 81-72.
The Beavers improve to 14-7 overall and 6-3 in Pac-12 Conference play, moving them into a tie for 2nd place in the Pac-12 standings.
OSU held a halftime lead of 46-32, then held off a strong second half surge from the Utes to hold on for the win.
Tres Tinkle buried a deep 3-pointer with 1:43 left to put the Beavers up for good with a 74-67 lead.
Tres literally means three.

It was Tinkle’s 3rd career 30-point game, and second this season.
The Beavers are next in action Thursday, Feb. 7th at home against Stanford.
