Timbers Steal Win Over LAFC in Stoppage Time

The Portland Timbers didn’t score for 90 minutes straight on Wednesday night, but they found a way to steal a 2-1 win over LAFC in stoppage time at Providence Park.

After that, the two teams played a fairly even match. LAFC scored an equalizer midway through the first half, but only led in possession 53-47 percent. With a minute remaining in stoppage time, it looked like the two teams were headed to a draw until Sebastian Blanco found Felipe Mora for a phenomenal header:
