Timbers Forward Jaroslaw Niezgoda has torn ACL, Will Miss Remainder of Season

Portland Timbers forward Jaroslaw Niezgoda suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during the Timbers’ 1-0 win over Vancouver last Sunday night. He will reportedly miss the rest of the MLS season.

Niezgoda sustained the injury in the final minutes of Timbers’ match with the Whitecaps. An MRI following the match revealed the injury, and Niezgoda is now scheduled to undergo surgery next Monday, Nov. 9.
