Thybulle shines in debut as Trail Blazers top Lakers 127-115

It wasn’t quite the 25 point lead they let slip away in January, but Portland led by 19 at halftime in an easy 127-115 win over a Lakers team missing LeBron James.

Damian Lillard dominated early, with 30 of his 40 points in the first half.

Newcomer Matisse Thybulle, touted for his defense but considered a liability on offense, scored 14 points on 4-6 from the 3-point line along with three blocks and a steal.

Shaedon Sharpe continued his emergence with 15 points in 26 minutes including this monster dunk:

Up next for the Trail Blazers – they host the Washington Wizards at 7pm on Tuesday night.
