Three Ducks, One Beav Sign Free Agent Deals After Going Undrafted

UPDATE (9 p.m.): Isaiah Dunn has signed with the NY Jets (see below).

ORIGINAL (8:47 p.m.): Every year there are draft-worthy players that go undrafted. As of Saturday night (May 1) four local college stars have signed deals to join the NFL as Undrafted Free Agents (UDFAs).

One player, among many, we’re still unsure of is Oregon’s Nick Pickett. Teams and players still have plenty of time to come to a deal, but here’s what we know so far…

Hunter Kampmoyer

The Oregon senior tight end signed a deal with the LA Chargers to reunite with former Oregon QB Justin Herbert, the team confirmed.

Kampmoyer caught 20 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns in three seasons as a tight end. He was recruited and played on the defensive side his redshirt-freshman season before flipping to offense as a RS-sophomore.

Jordon Scott

One of the biggest names on the Oregon D-Line is headed to the Minnesota Vikings, Scott announced with a single word on Twitter.

Scott racked up 109 total (56 solo) tackles including 13 tackles for loss in his Ducks career. He also had four sacks and a pass defensed in four seasons with Oregon.

The senior joins a Vikings defense that is built on toughness and strength, so Scott should fit right in.

Austin Faoliu

The Dallas Cowboys is calling the Oregon senior to sign with America’s Team, The Oregonian reported.

Faoliu also spent four years playing for the Ducks. He collected 124 total (60 solo) tackles including 10 tackles for loss. He picked up five sacks, three forced fumbles and a pass defensed.

Faoliu is hoping to make the Cowboys roster after Dallas had one of the worst defenses in NFL history. Last season, the Cowboys gave up a franchise-record worst 473 points and gave up the second-most yards (6,183) for a single season in team history.

Hamilcar Rashed Jr.

The only Beaver we know of right now is heading to the Big Apple to join the New York Jets, according to Justin Melo of The Draft Network.

Rashed was a solid presence for four years in Corvallis. He finished his career with 143 tackles and a staggering 36 tackles for loss which is good enough for sixth most in Beaver history. In 2019, he had 22.5 tackles for loss which led the country and set the OSU single season record.

Rashed also forced four fumbles, had seven pass deflections and a fumble recovery.

Isaiah Dunn

The Jets came calling for two Beavs, as Dunn signed his undrafted free agent deal, according to the Beavers on social media.

Dunn played in 33 games with 26 starts. He had 115 total tackles and 18 pass breakups in his OSU career.
