Sweet 16 Bound Ducks Cruise Past Iowa 95-80

The Oregon Ducks continued a stellar run for the Pac-12 in the NCAA Tournament, beating #2 Iowa 95-80.

The game was a close shootout for much of the first half, before Oregon closed the last two minutes of the frame with a 10-0 run to take a 56-46 halftime lead. Oregon never relented in the second half, and cruised to the win behind their stellar guard trio of Chris Duarte (23 points), L.J. Figueroa (21), and Will Richardson (19).

Oregon’s ball movement was excellent all game long, finishing with an eye-popping 25 assists. The Ducks relied heavily on their starters, only getting 6 bench points for the game. Luka Garza did all he could for Iowa, scoring 36 points in the loss.

Oregon advances to the Sweet 16 for the 4th time in 5 tournaments. They take on the winner of USC vs. Kansas.
