Stoudamire Named WCC Coach of the Year

Former Trail Blazers guard Damon Stoudamire earned West Coast Conference Coach of the Year honors on Tuesday.

Stoudamire, a Portland native, has served as Pacific’s head coach for four years. In the 2019-20 season, Stoudamire led the Tigers to a 23-9 record.

Pacific finished behind Saint Mary’s, BYU and Gonzaga in conference play with an 11-5 record. The Tigers return to action this weekend when WCC Tournament play gets underway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
