Unfortunately the teams have different bye weeks — Titans in Week 7, Steelers in Week 8 — so the NFL didn’t have the super easy decision to just push the game back a few weeks.
As for the Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee’s opponent from Week 3, they’re expected to re-open their facility on Thursday. The Titans facility remains closed.
According to a statement from the NFL, one additional Titans player and one personnel member tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
The latest on the scheduling changes:
There were no positive tests today for the Vikings, who played the Titans last week. As long as there are no more positive tests in Minnesota, the Steelers-Ravens scenario listed below becomes the NFL’s most likely scheduling scenario. https://t.co/Onsi2Ok30O
