Seahawks Place Greg Olsen on IR, Sign ‘Snacks’ Harrison to Active Roster

The Seattle Seahawks made a few transactions official on Monday.

Tight end Greg Olsen suffered a fascia tear on Thursday, and he was placed on Injured Reserve. The soonest he can return is three weeks, however, Seattle notes “Olsen’s recovery and injury severity will determine whether or not that is possible.”

To fill Olsen’s roster spot, the Seahawks signed Damon “Snacks” Harrison to the active roster.

Also, practice squad running back Bo Scarbrough and tight end Stephen Sullivan join Olsen on IR.

Seattle re-signed cornerback DeMarkus Acy to the practice squad on Saturday. They also added center Brad Lundblade to the practice squad on Monday.

Up next, the Seahawks (7-3) head to Philadelphia (3-6-1) for a Monday Night Football matchup in Week 12.
