Seahawks fire offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer

The Seattle Seahawks have fired offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, the team announced on social media on Tuesday.
Brian Schottenheimer is a fantastic person and coach and we thank him for the last three years. Citing philosophical differences, we have parted ways.

Schottenheimer helped the Seahawks to a record-setting season, scoring the most points in franchise history. However, the offensive unit struggled in the second half of the season, and were smothered by the LA Rams in a Wild Card loss at home, 30-20.
Schottenheimer came to Seattle in 2018 when he replaced Darrell Bevell as Seahawks offensive coordinator. The next OC with the Hawks will be the fourth in the Pete Carroll era, following Jeremey Bates (2010), Bevell (2011-17) and Schottenheimer (2018-20).
