(ORIGINAL – Sat. 9:08 p.m.) The Seattle Seahawks took to Century Link Field for a scrimmage on Saturday, but it was cut short after a scary few minutes.
Defensive end Branden Jackson was engaged with offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi when their helmets collided. Jackson fell to the turf, and he was motionless for several minutes.
The Seahawks defender was strapped to a backboard and transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution. Pete Carroll told the media Jackson has feeling in his extremities.
Russell Wilson on DE Branden Jackson: “I’m praying that he’ll be OK.” Wilson added, “I believe he’ll be OK, it sounds like.” Jackson was knocked unconscious during today’s Seahawks scrimmage, per Pete Carroll.
