Saints Trade Former Duck LB Kiko Alonso, Draft Pick to 49ers for LB Kwon Alexander

Kiko Alonso hasn’t played a snap in 2020, and he’s on the move ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
The New Orleans Saints are shipping the former Oregon Duck and a conditional fifth round pick to San Francisco for Kwon Alexander.
Along with a conditional 5th rounder, that completes the trade. https://t.co/ZuE3oVt6c7

Both players involved in the trade have dealt with injury. Alexander played in the first five weeks of the year before getting hurt. However, he did return to practice this past week.
Meanwhile, Alonso tore his ACL in the playoffs last season and has spent all of 2020 on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List.
The trade to the 49ers marks the fourth time Alonso has been traded in his career.
LB Kiko Alonso has now been traded four times:
1. From Buffalo to Philadelphia for LeSean McCoy
2. From Philadelphia to Miami for draft picks
3. From Miami to New Orleans for Vince Biegel
4. From New Orleans to San Francisco for Kwon Alexander #TobiasHarris— Field Yates (@FieldYates) November 2, 2020
