Saints Coach Sean Payton Tests Positive for Coronavirus

The first person from the NFL world has tested positive for Covid-19.

It’s not a player, it’s New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton:

Saints’ HC Sean Payton tested positive for the coronavirus, he told ESPN on Thursday. Payton is the first person in the NFL world known to test positive for the virus.

Payton told Schefter that he came forward with his diagnosis in an effort to encourage people to heed the current government recommendations of self-isolation:
