Russell Wilson looking to get Dame & CJ involved in MLB to PDX!
There’s a good chance that you’ve heard the buzz around the social media world that there has been a strong movement to bring Major League Baseball to Portland, Oregon. One of the supporters in this journey is our very own QB1.
On Wednesday, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tweeted out a video message calling for more signatures on the Portland Diamond Project, which is an organization set to lead the movement to bring the MLB to Oregon. Wilson challenged his followers to collect the most signatures and the winner would get a hat signed by the Super Bowl XLVIII champion. He even called out Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, as well as former U.S. women’s soccer player Abby Wambach.
Whoever collects the most signatures on the @PDXDiamondProj rewards program will win this signed hat! I challenge @Dame_Lillard @CJMcCollum @AbbyWambach to sign the petition! #MLBtoPDX https://t.co/obiWXuqKIJ pic.twitter.com/dmNXYEVqSR

McCollum promptly replied Thursday morning that he’s interested in signing upon his return to the States.
