Roger Goddell Says "Officiating Has Never Been Better"

With the Super Bowl this weekend, NFL commissioner Roger Goddell, held a news conference in Phoenix. In the press conference, Goddell was asked about the officiating in the NFL. There has been a lot of criticism of the officials especially in big moments including the AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and Bengals. Goodell said that he thinks “Officiating has never been better” in the league. And that of course there are mistakes but the quality of the tv’s and slow motion has made it easier to criticize officials. Referees will never get it all right. But the NFL needs to be better.
