Reports: MLB Owners to Present Proposal for 2020 Season on Tuesday
Major League Baseball postponed its season due to COVID-19 during spring training, and we got a glimmer of hope for baseball’s return in 2020 on Monday.
The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal broke the news Monday morning that MLB owners have a proposal ready to present to the MLB Player’s Association on Tuesday.
MLB owners have approved a proposal for the 2020 season to present to the players’ union, source tells The Athletic. Meeting expected between union and league tomorrow.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan adds “now is when it starts to get serious.”
Passan also reported the World Baseball Classic, which was scheduled to be played in March 2021, will be canceled.
