Report: NFL May Require Fans to Sign COVID-19 Waiver to Attend Games in 2020

Of course the NFL would like fans to attend games during the 2020 season, however the latest report suggests that the league may require those fans to sign a coronavirus liability waivers. The league wants to protect itself from lawsuits resulting from the possibility that fans contracts COVID-19 while at a game.

When fans agree to sign the waiver, they acknowledge that they would be willing to take the health risks that comes with being in a stadium during a global pandemic. The potential request by the NFL is not unusual, as even President Donald Trump’s campaign required that attendees sign a COVID-19 waiver at a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma back on June 20th.
