Prediction: Oregon State Beavers At San Diego State Aztecs

Each week Steven Vaughan will predict the score of every Oregon State Beavers football game. This week the Beavers take on the San Diego State Aztecs from Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. The Beavers are -6 on Saturday.

It was a nice win for Oregon State in week one over Idaho State. The Beavers ran it down the Bengals throats with 58 carries compared to only 14 passes thrown. I do think Oregon State is going to have to pass the football more to win this game over San Diego State. The Aztecs are 1-0 as well after their win over Texas A&M Commerce. Transfer running back Marquez Cooper ran for 223 yards and that is a reason why I’m taking San Diego State plus the points in this one. Oregon State wants to run the football. San Diego State wants to run the football. This will be a game with limited possessions. Because of the limited possessions and slow-down mentality makes me want to take the home team that is getting almost a touchdown.
