With two seconds left in the first half, Memphis in-bounded the ball looking for a last second shot attempt before halftime. Damian Lillard wasn’t having any of that as he stole the ball, and made a turn around fade away jumper at the buzzer. It gave the Blazers a 3-point lead at the half when they spent the majority of the first half down by double digits. But as he has done all season, Lillard refuses to let this team let up as Portland cruised to victory from there. Beating Memphis 116-89. Lillard finished with 20 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds.

Enes Kanter continued his hot play in the absence of Jusuf Nurkic, finishing with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Evan Turner got his second straight triple-double off the bench, finishing with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Portland has now won 8 of their last 9, and 10 of their last 12 games.

With the win, Portland has won 50 games for the first time since 2015. They now have a record of 50-28 as they battle the Houston Rockets for that coveted 3 seed in the west. Up next, they have a back-to-back with the 2 seed Denver Nuggets. They play at Denver this Friday on ESPN and then they host the Nuggets Sunday night in the Moda Center.
