The Portland Trail Blazers have officially unveiled their 2024-25 NBA schedule, setting the stage for a season brimming with both opportunity and challenge. Fans can now mark their calendars for a thrilling slate of games that promises to deliver excitement, drama, and high-stakes action.

The Blazers will tip off their regular season on Wednesday, October 23, with a high-profile home opener at the Moda Center against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. This matchup not only kicks off Portland’s campaign but also features one of the league’s premier talents, setting an electrifying tone for the season. Following their home opener, the Blazers will enjoy two more games at Moda Center, aiming to build momentum before hitting the road.

The first road test of the season takes place on October 28, as Portland heads to Sacramento to face De’Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan’s Sacramento Kings. Just two days later, the Blazers will travel to Los Angeles to battle the Clippers at their new home, the Intuit Dome, on October 30. These early matchups will be crucial for the Blazers as they seek to establish their rhythm against formidable opponents.

In addition to their regular season games, the in-season tournament is back for a second season. The Emirates NBA Cup, tips off on November 12 for the Blazers when Portland will face Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, followed by games against the Houston Rockets on November 22, the Sacramento Kings on November 29, and the LA Clippers on December 3.

One of the standout moments of the season will be Portland’s lone nationally televised game on January 28, 2025, when they host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks.  This TNT broadcast promises to be a highlight of the Blazers’ season just like it was a season ago.

As the season progresses, the Blazers will close out their 2024-25 campaign with a series home games. They will face the San Antonio Spurs on April 6, the Golden State Warriors on April 11, and wrap up the regular season against the L.A. Lakers on April 13.

Despite the excitement surrounding the schedule, the season will not be without its challenges. The Blazers enter the season with a DraftKings win total projection of just 22.5, the third lowest in the NBA. This reflects the tough road ahead for the young Portland squad, which will need to overcome significant hurdles to exceed expectations.
