Portland Thorns FC Return Saturday morning in NWSL Challenge Cup’s First Game

The National Women’s Soccer League kicks off their return-to-play Challenge Cup Tournament on Saturday.

To start the whole thing, the Portland Thorns FC battling the North Carolina Courage.

The game will be live on CBS and CBS All Access starting at 9:30 a.m. PT. Portland is the No. 7 seed, while NC is the No. 5 seed.

After Saturday, Portland will also play Wednesday against the No. 1 seed Chicago at 9:30 a.m. PT again.

Then, the Thorns return to action on Sunday July 5 against the No. 2 seed Washington at 7 p.m. PT.

Finally, Portland takes on the Tacoma-based and No. 8 seed OL Reign on Monday July 13 at 9:30 a.m. PT to close out the group stage of the Challenge Cup.
