Meek has coached at Division-III George Fox University since 2010, and has led the Bruins to eight NCAA Tournament appearances in his nine seasons. Meek was the successor to Scott Rueck when Rueck took the Oregon State job in 2010.
Meek led GFU to appearances in the National Championship game in both 2012 and 2015. His teams went a combined 230-35 during his tenure.
He replaces Cheryl Sanderson, who was fired after two seasons and a 20-40 overall record.
Prior to Fox, Meek coached the Southridge high school girls basketball team and won five state championships in a six-year span from 2005-10.
