Hours after losing a hard-fought contest to South Florida, the Portland Pilots started flat and lost to the Ohio Bobcats on Friday morning at the Myrtle Beach Invitational in Conway, SC, 85-73.
The Pilots trailed 46-30 at halftime. They made just four of fourteen three-point attempts. Vukasin Masic, senior guard from Serbia, led UP in scoring with 17 points including 6-of-7 from the free throw line.
Portland is 2-4 overall. They stay in South Carolina to play one more game on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. against an opponent to be determined.
