Portland holds on for 4th straight win, beat Cleveland 123-110
The Blazers stayed hot tonight, beating the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers 123-110 for their 4th straight win overall. With the win, Portland improves to a season best 14 games over .500 at 37-23.
Portland started the game hot from the 3-point line, shooting 11-13(85%) in the first half to jump out to a 71-48 halftime lead. Both Cj McCollum and Seth Curry shot 4-4 from the 3 point line in the 1st half and finished a combined 12-13 from the 3-point line. McCollum finished with a game high 35 points. The new and improved bench for Portland once again had a solid game finishing with 36 points, led by Enes Kanter who finished with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Headband Moe continued his hot play as he had another staff stuffing game, finishing with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
The Cavaliers never gave up and made it a game in the 2nd half, outscoring the Blazers 36-17 in the 3rd quarter. Cleveland forward Cedi Osman led the way with 27 points, while Jordan Clarkson added 19 points off the bench.
