He only scored six points against Miami, but those last two were the most important. Pritchard also had four assists and a career-high six rebounds.
Pritchard is averaging the most minutes of any Celtic off the bench and the fifth-most overall at 22.9 per game. Since being drafted at No. 26 in the 2020 NBA Draft, he’s made a decent impact.
The Oregon product is averaging 8.3 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. He is shooting 50 percent from the floor and 34.8 percent from deep.
Pritchard’s best game came against Toronto on Monday when he finished with a career-high in points (23) and assists (8).
Up next, Boston faces the Washington Wizards on Friday. The next nationally televised game is technically Sunday on NBA TV when the Celtics battle Miami again.
However, the next games on a major network are on ESPN when Boston plays two games against Philadelphia on Jan. 20 and 22.
The Celtics are not scheduled to play against Portland during the first half of the 2020-21 season.
