Oregon State Running Back, Jam Griffin, Enters Transfer Portal

Just two days before the start of camp. The Oregon State Beavers lost a key piece to their backfield.

Junior, Jam Griffin, has decided to enter the transfer portal.

This is a big loss for OSU, leaves them with just three scholarship RB’s entering fall camp in Damien Martinez, Deshaun Fenwick, and Isaiah Newell. Even though Damien Martinez is the lead back. Griffin played some big roles for the Beavers last season.

Griffin’s best games were against the best competition. Against USC, Griffin had 12 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown, and against Oregon, Griffin had 8 carries for 75 yards.

For the season, the transfer from Georgia Tech, ran for 488 yards and 4 touchdowns. A big loss for the Beavers backfield as we head into the season which begins on Sunday, September 3rd at San Jose State.
