Oregon State Defense Dominates Again, Beat Florida 30-3

The Oregon State Beavers will finish the season with ten wins for the first time since 2006 after they defeated the Florida Gators 30-3 in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl.

Florida was stymied all game long thanks to the ferocious Beavers defense who held the Gators to just 219 yards of offense.

But it wasn’t just the Beavers defense who dominated.  Oregon State’s offense – led by Ben Gulbranson as well as a boost from senior captain, Tristan Gebbia – had 353 yards of offense on the Florida defense.

Not to be forgotten, OSU’s special teams dominated as well.  A blocked punt as well as a fake punt to  Paul Hornung award winner, Jack Colletto, capped off a complete team effort from the 14th-ranked Beavers.

Oregon State returns a lot back next season, and with the way Jonathan Smith has this team rolling, another ten-win season next year isn’t out of the question.
