Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal addressed the media on Monday saying, “It’s a pretty significant injury. We don’t know. We’re always hopeful, but it seems to be a bit longer term than anything else.”
In addition to Flowe’s injury, Feldman also reports that senior linebacker Dru Mathis will also miss an extended period of time with an unidentified injury. true freshman Keith Brown is expected to slide into the MIKE linebacker role, although he also suffered an injury against Ohio State, but it is reportedly not serious.
Justin Flowe’s injury is the latest setback for the star freshman who was the second-highest rated recruit in program history. Flowe played in just one game in 2020 before suffering a season-ending meniscus injury.
