Oregon Ducks Stay No. 6, Oregon State Up To No. 12 In CFP Rankings

The Oregon Ducks are again ranked No. 6 in the second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday while the Oregon State Beavers are the highest-ranked two-loss team in the country at No. 12.
Following their 63-19 blowout win over Cal, Oregon has won three in a row and improves to 8-1 overall, 5-1 in Pac-12 play. The Ducks have three regular season games remaining: vs. USC on Saturday (7:30 p.m.), at Arizona State on Nov. 18th, and hosting Oregon State in the rivalry game on Fri. Nov. 24th (5:30 p.m., FOX).
Should Oregon win out, they would advance to the Pac-12 Championship Game on Fri. Dec. 1st in Las Vegas.
Ohio State repeats as the No. 1 ranked team in the CFP, followed by Georgia, Michigan, and Florida State.
Other Pac-12 ranked teams include Washington at No. 5, Utah at No. 18, and Arizona at No. 21.
The Beavers jumped four spots from their initial No. 16 ranking in the Playoff after a commanding 26-19 win at Colorado. The No. 12 Beavers host Stanford this weekend and then host No. 5 Washington at Reser Stadium on Nov. 18th before visiting Oregon the following week.
