Oregon Ducks slip to No.17 in latest AP Poll after Civil War loss

Following their 63-53 upset loss at Oregon State last Saturday night, the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team slipped three spots in the latest AP Top-25 poll, released Monday.

The Ducks are now ranked No.17 in the poll, the second-highest ranked team from the Pac-12 Conference, behind Colorado (No.16).  The Ducks and Buffaloes are the only Pac-12 teams to be included in this weeks’ rankings, with Arizona garnering 34 tallies for other teams receiving votes.

Oregon is 18-6 overall, and 7-4 in Pac-12 play, good for second place in the conference, one game back of Colorado (19-5, 8-3).

No.17 Oregon hosts No.16 Colorado in a huge game Thursday night at Matthew Knight Arena, tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m. on ESPN.  The Ducks then host Utah on Sunday night at 6pm on FS1.

Preseason No.1 ranked Michigan State fell entirely out of the AP Top-25 poll this week, becoming the first program to do that since Kentucky did it twice in the 2013-14 season.
