Oregon Ducks Rally Late To Beat Portland Pilots 80-70 In OT

The Portland Pilots led 67-62 with 36 seconds remaining Tuesday night in Matthew Knight Arena, but the Oregon Ducks got a three-pointer from Keeshawn Barthelemy and a layup by Jadrian Tracey to force overtime. In the extra session, the Ducks outscored the Pilots 13-3 to escape with an 80-70 victory and improve to 3-0 overall on the season. Portland drops to 1-2 on the year and 0-1 away from Chiles Center.

Tracey led the Ducks with 19 points off the bench. Barthelemy, West Linn native Jackson Shelstad, and Central Point native Nate Bittle each had 13 points. TJ Bamba joined the group in double figures with 10 points.

The Pilots were led by the 12 points each from Serbian guard Vukasin Masic and Phoenix, Ariz. freshman Vincent Delano, with sixth-year senior Chris Austin totaling 11 points and New Orleans, La. freshman Todd Jones scoring 10 points.

The Ducks next take the floor Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena hosting Troy.

The Pilots are next in action Saturday at 2:00 p.m. visiting Long Beach State.
