Oregon Ducks Men Complete Wire-to-Wire Victory over Cal Golden Bears

The Oregon men’s basketball team never trailed and — aside from 0-0 — was never tied with Cal in their game on Saturday.

The Ducks (16-5, 11-4 Pac-12) had their lead cut to one twice, but a two-minute long 11-0 run put Oregon out of reach.

Despite just three double-digit scorers, UO won easily, 74-63.

Eugene Omoruyi finished with a game-high 21 points. LJ Figueroa was right behind with a season-high 20, while Chris Duarte had 17. The three combined for 38 of the Ducks 40 second-half points.

Figueroa also had a career-high 14 rebounds and a season-high five steals.

Cal (8-19, 3-17 Pac-12) had four double-figure scorers led by Ryan Betley’s 13 points.

Oregon has three games left on their regular season schedule, and they’re all on national TV.
