Cambridge has played four total seasons already, three with Auburn and last season with Bobby Hurley’s Sun Devils who reached the Pac-12 Tournament and won a play-in game against Nevada before losing in the first round to TCU.
Last season, Cambridge started all but one of his 36 games played, averaging career-highs in points (9.8), rebounds (5.4), blocks (0.8) and assists (0.8) while also averaging 0.6 steals per game.
The 6’6” 215-lb guard from Nashville, Tenn. is known for his above-the-rim ability. He leaves Arizona State where his brother, Desmond Cambridge Jr., played with him in 2022-23. Desmond is out of eligibility after playing five seasons.
Devan Cambridge was the second player on Friday to commit to Oregon out of the transfer portal, joining Georgia transfer guard Kario Oquendo.
