The Michigan Wolverines fell behind Michigan State 7-0 early, but quickly turned a deficit into a lead.

Michigan scored 17 unanswered points in the second quarter to lead 17-7 at the break.

Shea Patterson torched the Spartans defense all game long. The senior collected 384 passing yards on 24-of-33 passing, and he threw four touchdown passes.

No. 15 Michigan crushed Michigan State in almost every statistical category; 25 first downs for UM versus 16 for MSU, 467 total yards compared to 220 for Sparty.

Saturday marks the first time Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio has lost back-to-back games to Michigan in his Spartan coaching career.
