Nick Foles and the Eagles had a 4th and goal on the 2 yard line with 1 minute to go trailing 15-10. On the play, Foles found Golden Tate near the right pylon to give the Eagles a 16-15 lead and the eventual win. But it didn’t come without more drama as on the ensuing Chicago possession, Mitchell Trubisky led his team down into field goal range with 5 seconds left. Bear kicker Cody Parkey, made his first attempt but Eagle head coach Doug Pederson called a timeout before the play. The next kick bounced off the left upright, and then the cross bar, to fall short and leave Bears fans heartbroken.

Nick Foles once again had the magic tonight, as he completed 25-40 passes for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns against the leagues best defense. Alshon Jeffrey, playing against his former team led the Eagles in receiving catching 6 balls for 82 yards.

Mitchell Trubisky, playing in his first postseason game had a great second half and in total completed 26-43 passes for 300 yards 1 touchdown and no interceptions. What really hurt the Bears tonight was the lack of running game as they only rushed for 65 yards as a team and never had any real balance on offense.

With the win, the Eagles will head to the Superdome to take on #1 seed New Orleans. The Dallas Cowboys who won last night will head to Los Angeles to take on the #2 seed Rams. You can listen to both Divisional Round games right here on 102.9/750 The Game.
