NFL Week 2: Noteworthy Betting Action from BetMGM
Week 2 in the NFL saw 13 of 15 favorites winning outright, with the Rams and the Raiders being the only underdogs to get the job done. The Las Vegas Raiders opened as 6-point underdogs to the New Orleans Saints, but the closing line dropped down as low as 4 just prior to kickoff. The Raiders were playing their first game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and their performance did not disappoint.
Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr lit up the Saints defense to the tune of 282 yards and 3 touchdowns, while their offense committed just one turnover on downs on a 4th & 1 late in the 3rd quarter.

Most Bet Game: Seahawks vs Patriots (SNF)
The Seattle Seahawks closed at 4-point favorites at home against the New England Patriots. Patriots quarterback Cam Newton got off to a hot start in his debut with New England in Week 1, breaking a franchise record for rushing yards in a single game (75) and leading his team to victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Newton’s hot start was not a fluke, as he threw for nearly 400 yards while once again leading the team in rushing and contributing three total touchdowns in a losing effort the Seattle, 35-30. Seattle was able to stop Cam Newton at 1-yard line on the final play of the game to win, and cover the 4-point spread.
