NFL, Pro Football HOF Names All-Decade Team for 2010’s; Five Seahawk Greats Listed
The NFL and the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their 52-player All-Decade team, and the Seahawks claimed five spots.
Seattle’s Legion of Boom was well-represented with cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas on the squad.
Beast Mode (Marshawn Lynch) and Bobby Wagner rounded out the players for the Seahawks.
Finally for Seattle, Head Coach Pete Carroll edged out Andy Reid, among others, for the second coach named to the team. New England’s Bill Belichick was the other coach selected.
Obviously, when lists like this come out, there will be snubs.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was left off the list. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers took the two QB slots.
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten wasn’t named to the team either. Instead, Patriots star Rob Gronkowski and Chiefs stud Travis Kelce made the cut.
