NFL Playoffs, Wild Card Schedule are set

After Sunday’s drama, we finally have our matchups set for the NFL Playoffs and Wild Card round.

In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers sit at home and wait to find out their opponent in the Divisional Round as the NFC’s top seed for a second straight year.

The conference 2-seed goes to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who finished 13-4 in the regular season.  The NFC East champ Dallas Cowboys (12-5) are the three-seed, with the NFC West Champion Los Angeles Rams (12-5) taking the four-seed.

Fellow NFC West foe Arizona (11-6) is the top NFC Wild Card at the 5-seed.  The six-seed goes to a third NFC West team in the 49ers (10-7), with the Eagles (9-8) taking the final spot.

The AFC’s top-seed is the Tennessee Titans (12-5) who will have a first-round bye.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs (12-5) are the two-seed, with Joe Burrow’s Bengals (10-7) taking the three-seed and Josh Allen’s Bills (11-6) the four-seed.

Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots (10-7) are the top wild-card as the five-seed, with the Las Vegas Raiders (10-7) taking the six-seed following Sunday night’s thrilling overtime win over Justin Herbert and the Chargers (9-8).  The Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7-1) are the AFC’s final playoff team after beating the Ravens, seeing the Colts lose to the Jaguars, and the Raiders-Chargers game not producing a tie (though it was close).
