It was a disappointing night for the Blazers tonight as they fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 120-111. Mike Conley was unstoppable for the Grizzlies tonight, scoring 40 points with 4 assists while Joakim Noah added a spark off the bench finishing with 9 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and provided great defense against the Blazers big men.

Portland jumped out to an early 16 point lead in the first quarter and they looked like they would cruise to an easy victory. But the Grizzlies didn’t lay down, as they scored 41 points in the 2nd quarter, led by Delon Wright, who seemed like he couldn’t miss in that quarter. Wright finished with 25 points off the bench.

A bright spot in the loss was the continued hot play of Moe Harkless. Harkless was everywhere on the floor tonight and finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Cj McCollum added 27 points while Damian Lillard had 24 points and 8 assists.

With the loss, the Blazers finish the long 7 game road trip with a record of 5-2. With an overall record of 39-25, they are now in a 3-way tie for 3rd place in the west with Houston, and Oklahoma City. Up next is a huge game with the Thunder, Thursday night in the Moda Center.
