John Canzano talks with Meyers Leonard about his career-high 30 points in Game Four in the Blazers/Warriors series and being in the zone.

On his role moving forward:

“I feel confident. It’s the best I’ve felt on the floor. I’m proud to be on this team… I really, really want to do this in Portland… I want nothing more than this.”

On putting in the work:

“Three years ago was a very, very, very hard time in my life. I was depressed. I didn’t want to get out of bed. I didn’t want to go in public for fear of what people thought of me. We didn’t go out to eat in public… I had anxiety, pulling up to our own arena after the boos and all that.

“I’ve been through some dark times. I’m so appreciative to be on the other side of it.”
