The Seattle Mariners opened up the 2019 MLB season with a 9-7 win over the Oakland A’s. The game was played in Tokyo, Japan. The final game of the opening series will be tomorrow, first pitch set for 2:30AM.

Here are your full highlights from the win:

It was newly acquired Mariner, Jay Bruce, who got the first hit of the MLB season. Seattle wasn’t able to do anything else in the top of the 1st.

In the bottom half of the 1st, Oakland was able to put a run on the board as right fielder Stephen Piscotty delivered the first HR of the MLB season.

In the bottom of the 2nd, after a Mariners error, Oakland shortstop Marcus Semien was able to add to the lead with a RBI single.

Dee Gordon was able to answer for Seattle in the top half of the 3rd with a RBI single to give the Mariners their first run of the season.

Just four batters later, Domingo Santana gave Seattle a 5-2 lead with a grand-slam HR.

Oakland Athletics DH Khris Davis was able to cut the Mariners lead to 5-4 with a 2-run HR in the bottom half of the 3rd.

In the top of the 5th, Ryan Healy added to the Mariners lead with an RBI double.

The very next batter, shortstop Tim Beckham hit a moonshot to left field to give Seattle a 9-4 lead.

Oakland was able to cut the lead once again, with a 3-run HR from Matt Chapman.
