Manny Machado signs with San Diego Padres; richest contract in American sports history

The richest contract in American sports history was agreed upon Tuesday, as highly-sought-after free agent Manny Machado agreed to sign a 10-year, $300 Million deal with the San Diego Padres, per multiple reports.  Machado can opt-out after the fifth year.
