Most College Football coaches when they leave for a new job get up and go; Mario Cristobal, the day he was named Miami Head Coach, gave his time to join the Bald Faced Truth to show his gratitude to the University of Oregon where he spent four successful seasons.
Cristobal is heading home to the University of Miami to become the Head Coach of his alma mater. Cristobal stressed how difficult of a decision it was and gave advice to Oregon going forward. Canzano also asked Cristobal about not reaching the playoff at Oregon, his memories with the program, and if there was anything Oregon could do to stop this move.
“At the end of the day, it’s okay if people don’t understand. It’s okay for people to be upset,” said Cristobal.
