Damian Lillard met with the media Monday, and he thinks there will be more moves throughout the NBA.

“I mean, I know about a lot of stuff, that’s probably going to happen. And ya’ll are just gonna have to wait for that to happen,” Lillard said.

Portland added Rodney Hood from the Cleveland Cavaliers over the weekend in exchange for Nik Stauskas, Wade Baldwin IV and two second round picks. Lillard had some praise for his new teammate.

“He’s a hell of a player,” he said. “[He’s] a big wing, he can score the ball. He can make shots. He’s a solid defender, I know that from playing against him when they would put him on me sometimes.

“His size and athleticism was more of a challenge than being guarded by someone my size,” Lillard said.

The Blazers return to action tonight against the Miami Heat after nearly a week off. Portland’s last game was Wednesday of last week when they crushed Utah 132-105.

“I think [the time off] was needed. We had a lot of games in not a lot of days and our minds were just going, going, going,” Lillard said. “We were locked in and sharp, getting the job done. Sometimes you just need a mental break.”
