Kingsbury had just arrived in LA after being fired by Texas Tech after six seasons at his alma mater.
Kingsbury was named OC/QBs coach at USC back on December 5th. He will not coach in a game for the Trojans, after all.
Kingsbury replaces Steve Wilkes, who was fired by the Cardinals after one season. Kingsbury takes over a Cardinals team that has the NFL’s number-one overall pick in the upcoming 2019 Draft, as well as a young quarterback talent in former UCLA star Josh Rosen.
