Jusuf Nurkić Announces Return to Trail Blazers Will Come Friday at Orlando

The Portland Trail Blazers only made one trade, but they’ll expect more than just Norman Powell to join them on the court Friday against Orlando.

Jusuf Nurkić didn’t wait for a news breaker like ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski or The Athletic’s Shams Charania. He did it himself.

Nurk hasn’t played a game since Jan. 14 against Indiana. Before fracturing his wrist against the Pacers, the Bosnian Beast was averaging 9.8 points and 7.7 rebounds in just 12 games.

The last two seasons, Nurkić has only played a total of 25 games (20 regular season, five postseason).
