In the three games played by the Chargers during the month of October, Herbert threw for 901 yards, 10 touchdown passes and just one interception while completing 66 percent of his passes. His 122.2 passer rating was the best in league history by a rookie with at least 50 passing attempts in a single month.
The rookie earned his first NFL win last week over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and continues to raise eyebrows across the league.
Justin Herbert: The highest rated passer in the @NFL on third down. He and Patrick Mahomes are the only quarterbacks in NFL history to pass for 250+ yards in each of their first 5 starts. Hey @Chargers, you got yourself a good one. 🔥👀 #JustinHerbert #ProDucks #Chargers pic.twitter.com/ctkBTWc0zw
