Justin Herbert Earns Offensive Rookie of the Month Honors

The rookie quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers and former Oregon Duck, Justin Herbert has been lighting it up so far through his first five starts in the NFL. His rapid success has resulted in him being named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Month for October.

In the three games played by the Chargers during the month of October, Herbert threw for 901 yards, 10 touchdown passes and just one interception while completing 66 percent of his passes. His 122.2 passer rating was the best in league history by a rookie with at least 50 passing attempts in a single month.

The rookie earned his first NFL win last week over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and continues to raise eyebrows across the league.

Herbert also joined the Dan Patrick show earlier in the week, heard right here on 750 The Game.
