The Oregon State Beavers never recovered after an early double digit deficit against the University of Washington. The Huskies remain undefeated in Pac-12 play at 7-0 with the 79-69 win.

The Beavs trailed by 13 at half and were down as many as 21 points in the game. The closest Oregon State got in the second half was nine with eight seconds left.

Washington (16-4, 7-0 Pac-12) had good balance with four players scoring at least 11 points. The Beavers only had two double digit scorers, junior Tres Tinkle and senior Stephen Thompson Jr.

Tinkle collected 18 points while Thompson Jr. led all scorers with 30 points. The Beaver senior was 11-of-19 shooting from the field and six-of-11 from three point land.

The biggest problem for Oregon State (12-7, 4-3 Pac-12) was the scoring off the pine. The Washington bench outscored the Beavers 25-6.

A pair of sophomores led the way for the Huskies as Jaylen Nowell led the UW scorers with 19 points. Off the bench, forward Nahziah Carter poured in 18 points to push Washington over the top.
